Because data is spread over several machines, each machine maybe vulnerable to security breaches. Concurrency also plays an issue in the way that failures are handledin the database. Conclusion Distributed databases offer significant competitive advantage to thoseorganizations that implement them effectively, but there are keyconsiderations that need to be taken into account to ensure a successfulimplementation.
